1. Hot water flushing: after oxidation, aluminum parts need to be
flushed with hot water in order to aging the film. However, the
water temperature and time should be strictly controlled. If the
water temperature is too high, the film becomes thinner and the
color becomes lighter. The above similar problems will also occur
if the treatment time is too long. The appropriate temperature and
time are: temperature 40 ~ 50 ℃ and time 0.5 ~ 1min.
2. Drying: it is better to dry naturally. Hang the aluminum parts
washed with hot water obliquely on the shelf, so that the free
water on the working surface flows downward in a vertical
direction. The water drops flowing to the lower corner are absorbed
with a towel. The color of the film dried by this method is not
affected and appears natural.
3. Aging. The aging method can be determined according to the
climatic conditions. In summer with strong sunlight, it can be
exposed to the sun. In rainy days or winter, it can be baked in an
oven. The process conditions are: temperature 40 ~ 50 ℃, time 10 ~
15min
4. For the repair of unqualified parts, unqualified conductive
oxide film parts should be picked out before drying and aging
processes. It is difficult to remove the film after drying and
aging, which will affect the surface roughness of aluminum parts.
For unqualified workpieces, we can take the following simple
measures to solve them: first, clamp the unqualified workpieces on
the fixture for aluminum anodizing, and then anodize them according
to the anodizing method of aluminum in sulfuric acid solution for 2
~ 3min. After the film is soft and falls off, the conductive
anodizing can be carried out again after a little cleaning with
alkaline solution and light emitting with nitric acid.
Extrusion is the means of profile forming. Firstly, the die is
designed and manufactured according to the section of profile
products, and the heated round cast rod is extruded from the die by
extruder. The commonly used grade 6063 alloy also uses an
air-cooled quenching process and subsequent artificial aging
process during extrusion to complete heat treatment strengthening.
Different grades of heat treatable strengthening alloys have
different heat treatment systems.
Coloring (here we mainly talk about the process of oxidation)
Oxidation: the surface corrosion resistance of extruded aluminum
alloy profile is not strong, so the surface treatment must be
carried out through anodic oxidation to increase the corrosion
resistance, wear resistance and appearance beauty of aluminum.
The main processes are:
(1) Surface pretreatment: clean the profile surface with chemical
or physical methods to expose the pure matrix, so as to obtain a
complete and dense artificial oxide film. Mirror or matte (Matt)
surfaces can also be obtained by mechanical means.
(2) Anodizing: for the surface pretreated profile, under certain
process conditions, the substrate surface will be anodized to form
a layer of dense, porous and strong adsorption Al2O3 film.
(3) Hole sealing: seal the pores of the porous oxide film generated
after anodic oxidation, so as to enhance the anti pollution,
anti-corrosion and wear resistance of the oxide film. The oxide
film is colorless and transparent. By using the strong adsorption
of the oxide film before sealing the hole, some metal salts are
adsorbed and deposited in the film hole, which can make the
appearance of the profile show many colors other than the natural
color (silver white), such as black, bronze, golden yellow and
stainless steel.
